Purchased
Yesterday was a big day for me; I finally purchased a turntable. I’ll leave it as a surprise to what I go for when I set it up, I’m looking forward to it. I went with my dad too a couple of his favourite shops but we spent the most time talking to John from My Kind Of Music. My dad considers him one of the best guys in the biz and he wasn’t wrong. John knows his stuff!
I ended up spending a little more than I had originally planned but I guess it’s an investment, this could be the only record player I ever own.
That morning I’d gone to brunch with friends and walked into the local She Said Boom (one of my favourite stores in the city) and picked up a few albums to help celebrate the up coming purchase. I bought them on a whim and I could see myself doing it again in the future. This is going to be a expensive lifestyle.
